IIPM THE INSTITUTE ONE HAVE TO STUDY

INDIAN INSTITUTE OF PLANNING AND MANANGEMENT (IIPM) which was started by Malay Chaudhri Director of IIPM in 1973. Arindam Chaudhri "Management Guru" is the Director.IIPM has its branches in 7 main cities in India. It has its headquarters in National Capital Delhi and has its 6 branches in Mumbai, Chennai, Bangalore, Pune, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad.

They have established as a well improved institute in the eyes of the corporates. They have good syllabus to recoken with. They have Professors base good. Well renowned Professor from top institutes like IIM's come and take classes in IIPM. As i told IIPM has a good name in the minds of the corporates i can put more on that. I applied for Summer Training in EMAMI Limited in Kolkata. I had sent my Resume to the Director Emami group Mr.Bhansali. He reforwarded my Resume to Ms.Indrani Sen VicePresident in the same concern. She has wrote a letter back to the Director as follows... "IIPM is the well renowned institute we can take this candidate". This name IIPM has with the corporates.

Around 700 companies visit the Campus every year, wich is a great number for a institute. Their Averge salary is 3.5lacs. which is nominal for a B-School. Companies from Dubai and UAE visit the campus. They have around 72 subjects to study which is huge for a student, but it makes a man compatible to any situation. They make Marketing a base for all students, and students can opt for Finance or HR in the second year.
Their biggest recuriter is Reliance ADAG. I got placed in Reliance Life Insurance in the profile of Marketing and Communication with a package of 6.25lacs

IIPM has a good huge Disadvantage, their intake is huge in NewDelhi campus. Their intake is 2500 every year. which makes student to fight for their survival. Mr.Arindam Chaudhri wants more managers should be out from his institute but it reduces the efficiency of the student. Good student fights out,others bows out.

Mr.Arindam Chaudhri also manages a firm called Planman Consulting which is the fastgrowing firm in India. He recurits only IIPM passouts in his firm. His firm is the good base for learning the job because it is the fast growing firm.


IIPM intake is in two terms one is Spring Summer which is in May and Fall Winter which is in August. IIPM teaches the students the subjects which are not taught in IIM's and other Bschools in India. It has a tieup with IMI Belgium. It gives the MBA degree of IMI Belgium and its own Diploma Degree FIIPM(Fellowship of Indian institute of plannning and management).

Only IIPM has the course called Executive Communication which transforms a guy into a good speaker. In the corporate world if u have to excel you should have a good communication, which Mr.Arindam Chaudhri deals it well by this course.

IIPM offers another subject called National Econonmic Planning(NEP) which makes a student good in Social and Public affairs. IIPM brings out a great manager in oneself. Hatsoff to this great Institute. IIPM has brought out a great speaker in me.

NO MORE "MONKEY BUSINESS"

So atlast a very highly volatile issue came to an end. The Bhajji and Symonds issue.

Start of a Newyear 2008 in SCG Australia Indians were cruising by taking 6 wickets for 134. When Symonds was on 30 he nicked a ball to Dhoni's gloves by the bowling of Ishant Sharma. Umpire denied the appeal from were all started. Australians cheated in all respects and won the game and retained the "Border Gavaskar Trophy". After winning the test Australians felt the heat. Kumble told "ONLY ONE TEAM WAS PLAYING IN THE SPIRIT OF THE GAME". Australians thought indians would be in a fix after Bhajji's ban but powerful BCCI took care of the Indians. A simple issue was blown out of propotions and it marked the black days in cricket. Monkey is not a racial slur. Bhajji abused him with a bad word in hindi "Maa ki *****" which wrongly heard by Symonds as Monkey. Ponting as a Captain he should solved the issue there itself but as a crybaby he complained to Mike procter. I heard that Kumble has approached Ponting and told him about the after effects of the issue but Ponting forgot he has a tag of his country and he made Australians ashamed of his work.

There was a public outcry in India after banning Bhajji for 3 tests. Its obvious because Indians are more emotional towards cricket. Here in this part of the world, Cricket is worshipped as a Religion. There would be fightings inside but when it comes to cricket Indians unify. BCCI has shown their superiority in Worldcricket and made a correct thing in supporting Bhajji and threathened Cricket Australia that they would pull off of the tour. At last Bhajji won in the point of justice and Symonds and his team made as a scapegoat. I read in one newspaper that Symonds had given a interview by saying "My Blood Boils". First of all he have to see to whom he attacks. He attacked Bhajji, in India indians unified and fought back. But no Australians supported or backed the Aussie Cricket team which is so shameful as a country. Peter Rebouck who is well known writer has told that Ponting should be sacked from Captaincy. He has quoted that

"Ponting has changed the bunch of cricketers into bunch of Wild Dogs".

This shows how the Australians have played the Sydney Test and made their name and their Country's fame down.

So from now on Cricket should be played fairly and umpires should be selected carefully. And Umpires should retire after 60yrs. No more "Monkey Business" should happen again.
