AT LAST A HUNK HAS ARRIVED...................


The new bike was launched in early November by Herohonda "THE HUNK" a 150cc Bike with 5 gears, disc brakes. it looks are awesome. It will be a great competitor for Bajaj Pulsar & TVS Apache.

Looking at the meter console, we have no digital instruments there, looks like Hero Honda wants to make it traditional style manly stuff, only raw power. It is Rs.55000(ex-showroom price) for Disk+ Kickstart and Rs. 57000/- for Disk+Self start. So be ready to have an hand on it..............................

DHONI AS A CAPTAIN FOR TEAM INDIA


Dhoni as a captain is a good idea, because the same turmoil was occuring in South African Camp in 2003 after their first round exit of their home worldcup. Shaun Pollock was a captain for a series and Greame Smith who was 22 yrs that time was made a captain and he was successful and he groomed South Africa as world beaters.


So Dhoni can also put his efforts to make Indian team a Topclass team in near future. But Sourav Ganguly should be also considered by the board because Dhoni is young and he can succumb to pressure, so for the stop gap they should have made Sourav as a captain and Dhoni as a Vice captain so that Dhoni can be groomed for next 2 seasons.


But All's well will End well. So we can hope for the best!!!!!!!!

MY SUMMER INTERNS IN MEDIA MARKETING

Media Marketing is the latest mantra now in advertising industry. Media marketing has grown up leaps and bounds in the 21st century. Media Marketing is defined as Process of developing media strategies and objectives; strategic media planning utilizes a marketing program coupled with the selection of specific media that will effectively and efficiently reach target audiences for a specific product or service.

Media planning requires matching the target audience to the appropriate media. Once the target audience is identified, selection is made based on the profiles of various media that is available, while also evaluating cost. In strategic media planning, the planner will make recommendations to the client consisting of a combination of media that will be most effective in reaching the target audience and the marketing objectives. From targeted print to dedicated airtime, there are areas of media coverage that may be stronger than others. Successful media planning requires the ability to identify, plan and act upon the best mix for the business.
Today in-house branding is very popular. Many Hyper-malls are doing it. Where they welcome other companies irrespective of their streams for advertising or branding in their stores to explore their footfall.

I did my project on Media Marketing with Pantaloons Retail (India) Limited,Kolkata, which is a part of Future group. In Pantaloons retail there is a part called Future Media, where I worked with this company as a trainee for 2 months and did a project called “CONCEPT SELLING AND MEDIA MARKETING" IN RETAIL”. Where I learnt more about in-house branding and how to market these concepts to the clients.

Which was a great experience for me, visiting the clients, it was a great eye opener for me in terms of retail...

My Dear friends,

I can see many people are nervous while speaking in public. This happens because u r hesitant that what the people will think about me when i speak, u just forget that, because the world is waiting to hear your speech. If u fail in first instant take it as a stepping stone for your success. For eg. i was very nervous while speaking in my engineering but i threw away the nervousness and i felt confident that i can speak this helped me in improving myself. So believe in you u can achieve wonders in life. Before start speaking think first what are you going to speak then believe that you can do it then u can throw away the nervousness and excel in speaking.
